Happy Thanksgiving!

I’ve been up for hours getting some things done before we spend some time with family for Thanksgiving.  I wanted to help us all get off to a good start this morning, so I made a delicious green smoothie that I’m enjoying now and will share with Jon and Chloe. Especially on a busy day like today, it’s great to get off to a healthy and energetic start, and a green smoothie is the perfect way to do it!

Here’s what I put in today:

1 1/2 cups homemade almond milk

2 big handfuls of fresh spinach (from our first share of our winter CSA!)

2 1/2 bananas

1 tbs coconut cream

2 tbs flax seeds

1/2 cup (this is a guess, I just threw some in) frozen organic blueberries

1/4 cup organic dried strawberries

1 tsp spirulina

dash of cinnamon

1 tbs local raw honey
