March is National nutrition month so I thought I would take the opportunity to share a tip with you each day that you can implement right away.
This is a great chance to see how easy healthy change can be.
Wishing you a happy and healthy March!
Tip #1: HYDRATE!
The human body is 75% water, so it’s not surprise that it’s important to stay hydrated.
Under normal circumstances, you should aim for 50% of your body weight in ounces daily (more if you are exercises or sweating excessively and when you are pregnant or breastfeeding). So if you weigh 150 pounds, you should aim for 75 ounces of water a day.
Drinking coffee and other caffeinated beverages dehydrates you, so don’t be fooled into thinking that that morning cup of coffee, brewed with water, counts towards your water intake for the day.
