Are You Wondering What These 8 Weeks Will Look Like?

creating fertile groundThis is about creating peace for you.

It’s about finding the trust within you and letting it shine in your life.

To start, you must take the first step, and Creating Fertile Ground can be that first step.

You will open up to greater awareness in those spaces that will let you find your flow as mama.

This may mean that you feel empowered to prepare your body for a healthy and joyful pregnancy.

This may mean that your fertility fears ease.

When you are a tight constricted ball of fearful and stressful energy, there is not space for creation.

When you open up to receive, when you release what is not serving you, and when you reach out for the support that can help you overcome whatever barriers you are facing, you step into that role of mama.

That is what these 8 weeks will be.

Simplicity is key, so you do not need to worry about feeling overwhelmed.

Are you having trouble imagining what the flow of this program will feel like and what it will look like in your life?

Each Monday evening, once you have had a chance to begin your week, you will have a new email from me with the content for the week. It will be recorded so that you can listen to it wherever and whenever you can find the time and space.  You will also get a written version if reading brings you more ease.

Flexibility and flow!

In addition to the content call, you will receive your action step for the week and any corresponding exercises and worksheets.  This is where you get to dig in and explore the content in a hand’s on way.

You will shift how you view some of your current habits, and you will start to bring awareness to what is working and what needs work.

This is my favorite part of Creating Fertile Ground because it is through these exercises that you really start to get to know yourself on a deeper level.

This self-discovery has the potential to uncover some deep blocks that have been with you for quite some time.

All of this comes together in our private online forum where you can connect with the other women in the program, share your successes and your struggles, and strengthen your community.

You also have access to me for a one-on-one session where we you can get some laser coaching from me to help dissolve some of your stuck points and help you move forward.  You can use this at any point throughout our 8 weeks together.

Are you still not sure if this is the right program for you to invest in?

You can read some FAQ here and always feel free to send me an email with any other questions you have.

We start in a little over 48 hours, and I am looking forward to connecting with you if this is the right next step for you!

Untangling the Chain

Life is complicated.  If someone starts talking to you about simplicity, you might feel your body tense, like simplicity is a far away dream that could never have a place in your life.

The beauty of simplicity is that everyone can find it, and it is not about fighting – it is about flow.

preconception and pregnancy coachHave you ever gone to put on a favorite necklace, only to realize the chain seems impossibly tangled?

You have a couple of choices.

You could go at it full force and just pull it apart, this way and that, and hope that you will see a way to get it all untangled. This usually leads to a lot of frustration and stress, takes a lot of time, and sometimes necessitates picking a different necklace for the day. I have been there.

There is a better way.

You sit down with the necklace and examine it for a minute.  You find the clasp, and unhook it.  You pick one small spot to get started.  Slowly, patiently, you ease the knot out of the chain.

The path to simplicity is quite similar – you start small.  You pick one place to bring simplicity into your life.  This could be a morning routine, or clearing the clutter from just one shelf.

Simplicity is important because it helps calm your mind.  It helps you see what is really most important to you and what you can let go of.

Simplicity clears the way to makes space for your biggest dreams and desires.

Simplicity melts fear.

Simplicity can be reaching out for support so that you do not have to take on the overwhelming task of figuring it all out on your own.

Why Simplicity is Important for Fertility

If you spend time searching around on the internet, which I am sure you do, you are likely overwhelmed by all of the information out there about fertility, conception, healthy pregnancy and childbirth.

There is so much information that sometimes the only thing you can do is tune it all out, go back to living in your comfort zone (which includes the stress, anxiety, and old habits that you know you want to ditch), and hope for the best.

I’m here to tell you that there is another way to go.

Simplicity.  Baby steps.  Taking things one at a time and creating your own path.

Why is this so important?

When you feel as if you have tried everything under the sun (or you feel like you have to try it all), it can be exhausting.

When you get exhausted, your body is just that – it is tired, and it needs rest, not creation.

7 Steps to Increased Fertility is all about simplicity and focus.

I teach you in a very gentle way about some things that are important for increasing fertility that you may not have thought about yet.

You might be asking yourself, isn’t this just more information to take in?

Sort of, but not really.  Each day, I share with you a simple step, a place you can bring more awareness to, and space for you to discover if this is an important piece for your journey.

If it is, you can start to bring more attention and action there.  If not, you will focus on what feels right for you.

I am rebuilding my gut right now, and I am seeing in action how bringing awareness to certain areas of one’s life can be the catalyst for change.

What you once thought was impossible, suddenly sneaks into your routine.

You begin to feel better, more energized, more in control, and more empowered.

How does that sound to you?

The first email goes out Saturday night and we start exploring the steps on Sunday.

Will you join us for this next part of your journey?

Q&A about 7 Steps to Increased Fertility

support community for fertilityAre you wondering if 7 Steps to Increased Fertility is for you?

Read below to have you questions answered, and if you have one that you do not see here, please ask it in the comments below and I will be sure to answer it for you.

Who is this for?

This is for you if you…

are thinking about starting a family (whether this dream is around the corner or further down the line)

have concerns about your fertility and need a fresh perspective

are already trying to conceive

are thinking about expanding your family

are interested in giving your baby the best and healthiest start possible

If it is free, is there really any value to it?

Yes! I am offering this for free because I have seen in the past the powerful transformation that can occur.

The last time I shared this information (via a similar program), women were seeing shifts in their lives before the program had even begun!

The community that gathered was incredible and supportive.

Creating that connection and having that safe and sacred space is so important, and I want you to know that you have that within the Womb to World Wellness community.

I am overwhelmed by emails and information.  How much time will I need to commit to this?

You can see change from this week with fewer than 15 minutes a day.

That is one of the most beautiful aspects of this program.

The emails I send you are short but powerful.

You can read them in just a few minutes and let the ideas percolate all day long.

If you feel inspired to share and be active in the Facebook community, that can be another few minutes a day.

If you start thinking about digging deeper into any of these steps, that can take more time (but don’t try to go too deep all on you’re own just yet because I’ve got something coming for you if you’re motivated to take more action!).

Do you have more questions?  Ask them in the comments below.

Releasing Expectations

where will your journey lead youOn your journey, you will hit bumps in the road, you will stumble, and you may even take a big tumble.

You will get up again, smarter and stronger than before, with new lessons learned.

On my path, I’m coming again to the lesson about releasing expectations.

Maybe this sounds familiar to you…

You start learning about something new and you want to dive in deep.

You want to make the most of new information and you feel inspired to make big change.

You set your expectations high.

But what comes next?

You get stuck, because you were looking for the quick fix and you realize that you can’t do it all at once.

Baby steps are so important.

You set a strong foundation, you build a path that will lead you exactly where you need to go.

You do it one stepping stone at a time.

You need to realize that you have to start where you are now.

Not where you wish you were.

Not where you feel you should be.

Plant two feet on the ground.

Look around.

Know your destination and know that it may change (that’s totally okay and quite likely).

When you release expectation, you open up to possibility.

You are full of possibility.

Are you ready for the next step?

Got Babies on the Brain? Me Too!

boost fertilityI believe passionately in the power of our bodies and in the importance of what we do before we even get pregnant.

When you take a pregnancy test and confirm that you are in fact pregnant, you’ve been pregnant for about 2 weeks already.

That means everything you’ve done in those last two weeks has impacted your baby.

Beyond that, the environment that you set up for your baby by your choices and habits in the months leading up to pregnancy helps set the stage for your pregnancy and the health of your baby as well.

What do you often hear from your health care providers (assuming you have talked to them about your desire to start a family)?

Stop taking birth control for at least a few months before you start trying to conceive, take a prenatal vitamin so you get enough folic acid, and quit smoking, doing drugs, and cut down on alcohol and caffeine.

This tells you that what you do before you start trying to conceive matters.  It matters for your fertility and for the health of you and your baby, during pregnancy and beyond.

This is why I put together Got Babies on the Brain? 30 Tips to Boost Your Fertility.

This is a new approach that goes beyond getting off one pill (birth control) and starting another (prenatal vitamins).

These 30 tips teach you how to take better care of yourself when it comes to nourishing your body with healthy food, reducing toxins, and learning to make time to take care of yourself.

As my birthday present to you (today’s my 30th!), I am offering this E-Book and bonus printable to you for FREE this weekend (through 2/24 at midnight).

I hope you enjoy it and share it with the women in your world.

Are You Comfortable with Discomfort?

Are you comfortable with discomfort?

empowered and confident living

Buying and wearing these boots were acts of stepping out of my comfort zone and into my confidence

Your first thought might be, of course not.

If you’re uncomfortable on the couch, you shift positions.

If there’s something in your shoe, you shake it out.

When you dig a little deeper, does the answer change?

Are you happy in your relationships?

Do you find the work you do fulfilling?

Are you nourishing your body with the food that makes you feel your best?

Do you feel confident and empowered in the decisions that you’re making?

Do you feel stuck?

Here’s the thing with moving forward on your journey (and this is true for all of us) – you can’t truly move forward unless you step outside of your comfort zone on a regular basis.

Staying within your comfort zone, even if it doesn’t make you happy, makes you feel safe.  You’re living in a world that you know.  You get used to the fighting, the grogginess, the headaches, the draining days at work and the compromises.

It can take a serious turn of events to push you into action sometimes, but it is so much better when it doesn’t come to that.

What does this have to do with your journey towards motherhood?  Everything.

When you step out of your comfort zone and into a place of growth, you gain confidence and empowerment, and you shed fear.

With confidence, you make decisions that fully support your health and well being and create your path to fertile ground inside your womb.

With empowerment, you learn to trust your intuition and follow the path that feels most right for you.

Without the fear, you light up your life and step into an awakened place of being.

It’s a process.  All of it is.  But as Lao Tzu said, “a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”

What step can you take today to journey outside of your comfort zone?

Food Fridays: Healthy Breakfast Simplified

I woke up this morning and headed into the kitchen with the intention of making tea, and instead found myself making homemade muesli.

(The tea happened a bit later)

I recently fell into a breakfast rut, tired of some of my favorites.  I used to keep a bag of Bob’s Red Mill muesli in my pantry, but I took it out of the rotation when I tired of it.

I’m glad I did because it led me to realize how simple it is to make my own (and much more cost effective).

Muesli is flexible – you can add what you like or your body is craving, and you can eat it cold (either with milk or yogurt) or warm.

It also makes the perfect on-the-go mason jar meal.

Xandra’s 5 Minute Breakfast Muesli:

muesli2 cups rolled oats

1/4 cup wheat germ

1 tsp (or to taste) cinnamon

1/3 cup pumpkin seeds

1/3 cup sunflower seeds

1/3 cup sliced almonds

2 tbs coconut flakes

2 tbs chia seeds

1 cup unsweetened raisins

Combine ingredients in a bowl, and serve over yogurt, in milk, or warmed on the stovetop with milk.

Store remaining muesli in a glass storage container.

What’s your favorite way to simplify breakfast? Let me know in the comments below!

Finding Support When You’ve Got Babies on the Brain

You’ve probably thought about your biological clock, and if it’s ticking yet or not.

If you know it’s ticking, you know.

It makes the movies, and some articles online, but it’s not something that comes up much in general conversation.

When you feel that desire, that yearning to become a mother, it’s not exactly something you shout from the rooftops.  It often becomes a secret growing inside of you.

Perhaps you’re not sure if your partner is ready.

Maybe you don’t even have a partner right now.

You might be worried about money or how life changing this experience will be.

You certainly can’t predict exactly when you’ll get pregnant, so it feels early to be sharing these feelings of desire.

One thing you don’t have to worry about is being alone and feeling overwhelmed.

One thing you can be sure of is that other women have traveled this path before you, and their wisdom and support can help you create your own unique map for this incredible journey.

Stay tuned this week to learn about how I’m bringing a wonderful group of women together to share their wisdom.
